Biography: Dr. Bernd Blobel studied Mathematics, Technical Cybernetics and Electronics, Bio-Cybernetics, Physics, Medicine and Informatics at the University of Magdeburg and other universities in the former GDR. He received his PhD in Physics with a neurophysiological study. Furthermore, he performed the Habilitation (qualification as university professor) in Medicine and Informatics. He was Head of the Institute for Biometrics and Medical Informatics at the University of Magdeburg, and thereafter Head of the Health Telematics Project Group at the Fraunhofer IIS in Erlangen. Thereafter, he acted until his retirement as Head of the German National eHealth Competence Center at the University of Regensburg as well as Head of the globally unique International Interdisciplinary PhD and PostDoc College. He was and is still leadingly involved in many countries health digitalization as well as electronic health record strategy. He published more than 600 papers, published/edited many books and supervised a big number of PhD students from all around the world. He was German Representative to many SDOs such as HL7, ISO, CEN, OMG, IEEE, ASTM, SNOMED, etc., also chairing the national mirror groups. Furthermore, he still engaged in international higher education. He is Fellow of several international academies.

Biography: Kathleen N. Hipke, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry (CHS Track) at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Hipke’s primary areas of expertise are in perinatal, infant, and early childhood mental health. She is especially interested in program development and training opportunities that expand our workforce to provide high quality, therapeutic support to children and families in the earliest years of life. She is currently serving as Director of the UW-Madison Prevention Research Center’s Core Research Project, Addressing Postpartum Depression in Wisconsin Home Visiting. She provides state-wide training in Trauma Informed Child Parent Psychotherapy (TI-CPP) to licensed mental health clinicians seeking to implement empirically supported interventions for children 0-5 years of age who have experienced trauma and their caregivers; and has been teaching and providing mentorship to multi-disciplinary Wisconsin professionals working with young children via the department’s Infant, Early Childhood and Family Capstone Certificate Program since its inception. Dr. Hipke joined the Department of Psychiatry full-time in 2021 and is now contributing to training and clinical development for child Psychology and Psychiatry trainees with a focus on infant/early childhood mental health.

Biography: 

Dr Caz Nahman is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist originally from Nottingham, now based in Oxford working in a community eating disorders team and providing undergraduate teaching to medical students at Oxford University. She is finance officer/deputy chair of the Sport Psychiatry Special Interest group. She has additional training in sport psychiatry with the ISSP (International Society for Sport Psychiatry) and does some private work with athletes in addition to working with numerous junior athletes who have comorbid eating disorders who she sees in her NHS role.

Her interests include compulsive overexercise; youth sport; eating disorders in athletes, autism spectrum disorders in athletes, life-style psychiatry and medical education. In addition, she is keen to improve standards of care for athletes with mental health problems.

She is a co-editor of the RCPsych book “New to eating disorders” – a supervision guide for staff new to the field and a chapter author of one of the Chapters in Case Studies in Sport Psychiatry.   She has published in  the Sport Psychiatry Journal. In future she is hoping to be involved in research looking at exercise interventions for patient with an eating disorder as well as researching eating difficulties in athletes.

Biography
Ivan V Maksimovich, MD, PhD is a member of ISTAART, ESC, EAPCI, WSO, ESO, and EPA. He is a Head Physician of Clinic of Cardiovascular Diseases named
after Most Holy John Tobolsky (Moscow, Russia) since 1993. One of the major problems the clinic deals with is the diagnosis and treatment of various brain lesions
including Alzheimer's disease. Over the past 20 years, he has published over 200 scientific works on this subject.
